DAY 1

Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2

You will begin this day with the city tour including Nevsky Prospect, the Square of Fine Arts, St.Isaac’s Square and a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress, the birth place of St.Petersburg. You will have the afternoon at leisure to explore the city on your own. You will have an early dinner in the Sadko restaurant, a traditional Russian restaurant decorated in folk style, the history of which goes back to the 19^th century. The restaurant is conveniently located near Mariinsky theatre and often visited not only by the audience from the theatre but by the singers and dancers. After dinner you will enjoy an evening opera performance in Mariinsky (Kirov) Theatre.

Day 3

In the morning you will have a guided tour of the Hermitage museum, one of the world’s largest art museums with over 3,000,000 exhibits. After the tour you will have time at leisure, followed by an evening concert in the Philharmonics hall or the Capella or Mariinsky concert hall.

DAY 4

In the morning you will go outside St.Petersburg to Tsar’s Village (the town of Pushkin) and visit to Catherine’s Palace where you will see the opulent Gold Rooms and the Amber Room, the 8^th wonder of the world. This day your lunch will be served in the Podvorie Restaurant and will include traditional Russian “home-made” food. In the evening you will listen to an opera in Mikhailovsky (Mussorgsky) Theatre.

DAY 5

You will start this day with a visit to Alexander Nevsky Lavra, where famous Russian composers, such as Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin and others, are buried. Your farewell dinner will take place in the Backstage restaurant of Mariinsky Theatre, which belongs to the theatre and where the dancers often go to after performances. The restaurant is decorated with various theatrical objects, photographs and autographs of famous dancers and musicians.

DAY 6

Transfer to the airport 

The days of the operas/concerts may vary depending on the theatres’ playlists.
