City Tour
Moscow, the capital of Russia, is the world’s fifth most populous city with the population of some twelve million people. During the tour you will drive along Tverskaya Street, the main street of the city, and along the embankments of the Moscow River. You will see the impressive Kremlin walls and the golden domes of its cathedrals; Moscow State University on top of the Sparrow Hills, from where you will get a fantastic view of the whole city; New Maiden’s (Novodevichy) Convent and the impressive monuments in the Victory Park. During the tour you will drive along Tverskaya Street, the main street of the city, and along the embankments of the Moscow River. You will see the impressive Kremlin walls and the golden domes of its cathedrals; New Maiden’s (Novodevichy) Convent and the impressive monuments in the Victory Park. You will stop near Moscow State University on top of the Sparrow Hills, where from the observation platform you will get a fantastic view of the whole city. Then you will proceed to the heart of Moscow, Red Square, renowned as a showcase for military parades, celebrations, festivals and concerts. You will see Lenin’s Mausoleum, the famous GUM department store and St.Basil’s Cathedral, commissioned by Ivan the Terrible to celebrate the capture of the Mongol stronghold of Kazan in 1552 and completed in 1561. You will walk around the square and have time to visit the GUM department store. Approximate duration: 5 hours.

You will stop near the Tsar Bell and Tsar Cannon. In the Soviet times the Kremlin was the seat of the Soviet government; nowadays Russian President’s office is here. Approximate duration: 3,5 hours.

Armory Museum
The tour will take you to the State Armoury Museum, located on the Kremlin grounds. As an institution it dates back to the mid-16th century; later it came to incorporate the gold and silver workshops of the Kremlin. You will see the stunning treasures of the Russian tsars among which are crowns and thrones inlaid with gems, regalia and diplomatic gifts, carriages and sleds, richly decorated garments and vestments, gold, silver, arms, and armour. Faberge jewellery including some of the celebrated Easter eggs, presents one of the highlights of the collection. Approximate duration: 4 hours.

After visiting one of the cathedrals you will proceed to the State Diamond Fund. It was founded by Peter the Great as the Treasury of the Coronation Jewellery in St.Petersburg. It was moved to Moscow in 1914 after the beginning of World War I. The collection features unique pieces of jewellery of the 18-19th centuries, including Royal regalia and famous diamonds and gems. Approximate duration: 5 hours.

Tretyakov Gallery
This tour will take you to the second largest collection of Russian art after the State Russian Museum in St.Petersburg. The collection was founded by the Russian merchant and connoisseur of fine arts Pavel Tretyakov in 1856. In 1892 he presented it to the city of Moscow. The museum boasts masterpieces from the 15th century icons by Andrei Rublev and Dionysius to the early 20th century paintings by Shishkin, Vasnetsov and Vrubel. Approximate duration: 5 hours.

Pushkin Fine Arts Museum
The collection of the museum embraces art from ancient times to modern days and numbers over 500,000 objects of fine and applied arts. The museum was opened in 1912. You will the highlights of the collection, antique sculpture, Roman mosaics, Egyptian art, European art of the 14-20th centuries. The museum is mostly famous for its collection of Impressionists and Post-Impressionists. Approximate duration: 5 hours.

Sergiev Posad
This excursion will take you to the Trinity Monastery of St Sergius, one of Russia’s most important religious and historical landmarks and a place of spiritual pilgrimage, founded in 1345 by Sergius of Radonezh. The exquisite Trinity Cathedral, built over his tomb, is a national shrine. The monastery was closed down by the Communists in 1919 but was allowed to open again in 1946, when it became headquarters of the Russian Orthodox Church. Today the huge complex is enclosed by white walls around 1.6 km (1 mile) long. Its stunning churches, grouped around the spectacular Cathedral of the Assumption, are among the most beautiful in Russia. Approximate duration: 6 hours.
